Due to rising reports of wombats with mange and the increase in transfer of this disease to koalas, South Gippsland Landcare Network is holding and information and treatment training session. Simonne Flemming from Rescue to Release will cover:
- Identifying mange in wombats and other wildlife
- Understanding how to correctly report mange and other injured wildlife
- Learning the different techniques available to treat mange in wombats
- Registering as a volunteer with Mange Management Victoria
