Grant Sims is the former president of the Victorian No till Farmers Association and 2015 Coles Weekly Times Farmer of the year. Grant is a sixth generation farmer running the family farm, which has been no till since the early ‘80’s, and switched from granular synthetic fertilisers to biologically made liquid fertiliser in 2008. He also runs the multispecies seed business Down Under Covers.
On the day we will also visit the Tracy’s dairy farm and see multispecies pastures, including a conventional vs
regenerative practices demonstration site. Grant will also do a biofertiliser demonstration.
