SAVE THE DATE! PEDAL AND PLANT IS BACK!
To celebrate National Tree Day SGLN is working with the Loch-Nyora Landcare Group and the South Gippsland Shire Council to host the next Pedal and Plant event. This is a great opportunity to come together and help restore habitat along the Great Southern Rail Trail.
When: 6 August 2023, 10am-3pm
Where: Great Southern Rail Trail at Jeetho (meet and park at Jeetho Hall, 207 Jeetho Rd, Jeetho)
What: Planting up to 1500 native plants, working towards a wildlife biolink and improving the local environment.
What you can expect:
- Connect with and be inspired by nature and your community
- Learn about native plants and planting techniques
- Enjoy a cuppa and delicious snacks at the historic Jeetho Hall
