South Gippsland’s native wildlife are under threat from pest animals, either from predation, or competition for or destruction of habitat. However, many private landholders aren’t aware of the wildlife species present on their properties, or the pest animals that threaten them.
Through this project landholders from across South Gippsland are able to borrow a set of remote camera traps. We will provide detailed information on how to use the cameras, and how to sort and review the photographs taken before returning the cameras.
So if you’ve ever wondered what kind of animals live in your bushland, here’s your chance to find out!
