Prowling for Platypus

Last Sunday we had a great morning out searching for platypus on the upper Tarwin River at Hallston. A lucky few actually got to see a platypus while we all enjoyed a lovely walk along the river and presentation by Gemma from Ecology Australia about the biology, behavior and collective nouns for platypus! Thanks to Hallston Valley Farm for hosting the event! Our next Tarwin event will be at Allambee Flower Farm – more info and registrations here.

Check out the platy!
