Lock In National Tree Day – 28 July

Our ‘Pedal and Plant’ returns for National Tree Day in 2024 – promoting mental health by encouraging people to get outdoors and enjoy the Great Southern Rail Trail. This years event will be in Kardella, just 5km outside of Korumburra, where we’ll be planting 2000 trees. Participants are encouraged to park at Ruby (5km), Korumburra (5km) or Leongatha (10km) and ride their bikes to the site. Alternatively, limited car parking is available near the Kardella site.  The tree planting will be followed by a BBQ lunch. Come along – get healthy and get your hands dirty!
